Thanks to Ian Bell the Triumph Riders Club was helping support fellow Triumph people, all be it cars, by attending the "Day Of Triumph" at Bonython Park, Adelaide. This was put on by the Triumph Sports Owners Club of South Australia.

11 bikes gathered at Villis, Mile End to ride on mass to the park. When Ian suggested the idea we approach the Triumph Sports Owners Club to join the day I thought we may get a few bikes along fo rthe day. The roll up was great with a few others joining us at the park.

The President of the car club, Bill Berlemon, was the first to come over and make us welcome. We soon set up our banner and started having a look at the cars on show while some of the car drivers came over to check out the bikes. It was quite a warm day and the trees shading our bikes made sure we had a cool spot to go too every now and then. We stayed there for a couple of hours and when we were ready to leave Bill came over to thank the club for coming along. We are looking at having a combined ride with the car club later next year so stay tuned for more information.

A few of the members then decided to go up to Lobethal for a look at the old cars and bikes racing aroung the original Lobethal road track that day. By all accounts it was worth the ride up there with some of the guys eventually finding their way back to the pub at One Tree Hill to listen to a band and have a few drinks (how many pints was that Chopper?).
