Thank you to everyone who came on the ride for our engagement (Shane Ince "Pres" and Deb Norwood), it is great to have so many good friends from the club for the ride. There were 15 bikes for the ride, with a big group role up for tea at the Duke Of Brunswick Hotel in Adelaide prior to the ride. We left the Duke at about 7:30 pm for a cruise down to Semaphore via Port Road and then along the foreshore to West Beach and Glenelg with Chris Roberts tail-end-charlie. Frank Pellas and Paul Wallis bringing their new "ride bitches" with them (Candy Man who is waiting for his new Speed Triple and Chopper who is waiting for his bike to get fixed). We did a cruise down Jetty Road Glenelg with a Paddy Wagon following us from Jetty Road onto Brighton Road and all the way down to Jetty Road Brighton. We then criused down Jetty Road Brighton to the Seacliff Hotel. There we went in for a drink, coffee and some great cake. The ride turned into more of a progresive dinner with main meal at the Duke and coffee and sweets at the Seacliff. We all caught up with Daryl Rosser,TRC member, at the Seacliff, Daryl works security at the pub. The ride was a nice comfortable cruise with plenty of time to check out the views and it was graet looking back going along Military Road at West Beach with everyone taking up the whole road. We decided to call it a night after this as a few of the guys had a bit of a ride home and if we had gone to Moana as planned would have been a long cold ride home. Another good ride on a Friday night with plenty of time to catch up and talk about our next rides and events. We are looking at getting a TRC calendar together for 2009 so stay tuned for more info. Once again thanks to all those who came along for the ride and gave Deb and me some nice engagement cards and made it a very special night.
